    Managing Partner, ARCADIA SGR. Simone has 25 years of experience in private equity. He is a Partner and CEO of Arcadia SGR, a leading Italian lower mid-market private equity firm which he co-founded in 2008. He also serves as Chairman and Board Member of several portfolio companies of Arcadia. Between 2017 and 2022 he also served as an Independent Director at Industrie De Nora, the worldwide leading supplier of catalytic coatings, insoluble electrodes and equipment for water treatment, which IPOed at a market capitalization of ~€3 billion. Between 2005 and 2007 he was a Founding Partner and member of the Board of Directors of Management & Capitali, a publicly traded investment company with over €550 million in assets under management focused on turnarounds and special situations in Italy. Prior to Management & Capitali, he served for eight years as a Director and member of the Business Development Board at Bridgepoint, a leading pan-European private equity firm. Previously, he held investment roles at SO.PA.F., one of the pioneers in the Italian private equity market. Simone started his career with Pirelli and Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance. He holds an MBA from Bocconi University (with honors) and a degree in electronic engineering from Politecnico di Milano. He is also currently a member of the Board of Associazione Gianluca Spina, a charitable foundation sponsoring students in need to pursue MBAs and other post-graduate management degrees.
