Patrick Mousset is a partner of Gowling WLG Paris focusing his practice on Private Equity
and related M&A transactions for French and foreign Private Equity funds (on minority or
majority stakes) and also with a concentration on management packages. For more than
20 years, Patrick has been advising on the structuring of investments and divestments for
sponsors and managers, build-ups and dispositions, but also dividend recaps and restructuring
issues, refinancing, ESG and privacy matters. He also assists private equity firms and limited
partners on fund formation and fundraising aspects. He has a consistent track-record and
acknowledgement of the market through numerous recognition of Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR
1000, Décideurs, Option Droit & Affaires, among others. Patrick begun his carrier in Canada
(Toronto and Montreal) before joining US and UK law firm offices in Paris and holds master
degrees in Business Law both in France and in Canada. He is a member of the Paris and the
Quebec bar. Coupled with an ability to get the deal done, creative winning combinations beyond
only technical aspects and a deep knowledge of attractive sectors such as higher education,
energy, tech and services) and market and legal practices, Patrick is the perfect deal-maker.

Grine est associé au sein du bureau parisien du cabinet et il concentre son activité sur les opérations de fusion-acquisition et de private equity, y compris les LBO et les opérations ‘public to private’, tant nationales que transfrontalières. Il conseille régulièrement des fonds de LBO et participe au développement et à la mise en place d’investissements de private equity depuis plus de dix ans. Il dispose également d’une grande expérience en fusions-acquisitions en France et en Europe.

Antonio is Partner at Portobello Capital, a mid-market private equity firm based in Madrid with AUM in excess of €2Bn. At Portobello Antonio is responsible for the firm’s Italian activities where the firm has put increased emphasis over the past few years. Antonio has originated and led the investments in Poligof, a leading producer of backsheet films in Europe, and Farmol, one of the largest contract manufacturers in the aerosol personal care industry. Prior to Portobello, Antonio worked at Temasek and Morgan Stanley with a particular focus on the consumer sector.
