Maurice Technio
Président Directeur Général, ALTAMIR AMBOISE
Maurice Tchenio – is Chairman of Altamir Gérance, and
Chairman and CEO of Amboise Partners SA. He is also Chairman
of the AlphaOmega Foundation. He began his career as an
assistant professor of finance at HEC, before taking a position as
project leader at the Institut de Développement Industriel (IDI,
Paris), an investment bank specialising in equity investments.
In 1972, he founded Apax Partners with Ronald Cohen and
Alan Patricof. Today, Apax Partners is a global private equity
leader. From 1972 to 2010, he was the Chairman and CEO of
Apax Partners SA, the Group's French arm. In 1995, he created
Altamir, a listed private equity company. In 2010, he created
AlphaOmega, a venture philanthropy foundation recognised for
its public interest. In 2021, together with Frédéric Stolar, he launched Altaroc, a range of funds of funds targeting retail clients. He is the co-founder of AFIC (Association
Française des Investisseurs pour la Croissance), which became
France Invest in 2018, and former director of EVCA (European
Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, now Invest
Europe). Mr Tchenio has degrees from HEC and Harvard
Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and graduated
with high distinction . -
Jean-Luc Allavena
Chairman, ATLANTYS INVESTORS
Born in Monaco on June 29, 1963, Jean-Luc Allavena is Chairman of Atlantys Investors (in partnership with Apollo Management).
After graduating from HEC Paris in 1986, Jean-Luc Allavena began his career with Banque Paribas (1986-88), before joining the Lyonnaise des Eaux group - now Engie - in 1989 as financial controller.
In 1992, he became CFO of Techpack International, a world leader in packaging for cosmetics and luxury goods, which was the subject of one of the first major LBOs carried out in France with two investors, Pechiney and LBO France. He became Managing Director in 1996, and in May 1999 succeeded the company's founding Chairman, Alain Chevassus. When Pechiney bought out the entire capital, Jean-Luc Allavena became director of its cosmetology-luxury division.
In 2000, Arnaud Lagardère appointed him Deputy CEO of the Lagardère Média Group, responsible for the group's development strategy and operational management. He is also Managing Director of Lagardère Active (formerly Europe 1 Communication) and a director of the group's three other main divisions: Hachette Livre, Hachette Filipacchi Médias and Hachette Distribution Services.
Born into a Monegasque family that has been established in the Principality for several centuries, Jean-Luc Allavena became H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco's first Cabinet Director in 2005, taking charge of the organization and main directions of the new Sovereign's early reign.
In 2007, Jean-Luc Allavena joined London-based investment fund Apollo Global Management as a Partner.
Today, Apollo is one of the world's largest investment platforms, with over $600 billion under management. In 2010, it initiated the buyout of Alcan Engineered Products - formerly Pechiney - with the Fonds Stratégique d'Investissement. The company, renamed Constellium, was successfully listed on the New York Stock Exchange in May 2013.
Keen to finance major French industrial projects, Jean-Luc Allavena has successfully led some fifteen deals, including Monier-Lafarge, Latécoère, Verallia, Vallourec, Ingénico, Kem One, Air France, etc. Today, he is Chairman and founder of Atlantys Investors, which works and co-invests in partnership with Apollo and other funds.
Jean-Luc Allavena has been involved in voluntary work for several decades. He was Chairman of the HEC Alumni Association from 2001 to 2003, then Honorary Chairman, as well as Chairman of the HEC Foundation (2003-2005), then Honorary Chairman. In particular, he was behind the first fundraising campaigns for HEC graduates. From 2010 to 2015, Jean-Luc Allavena was Chairman of the French-American Foundation (then Honorary Chairman), dedicated to strengthening ties between France and the United States. He has been Chairman of Institut Aspen France since 2017.
Jean-Luc Allavena is an Officer in the Order of the Legion of Honor (France) and a Knight in the Order of Saint-Charles (Monaco). -

Professional career:
Michel Paris joined Paribas Affaires Industrielles in 1984, which became PAI Partners in
2001.
He served as CIO between 2009 and 2017 and as chairman & CEO between 2015 and 2020.
He was previously responsible for the Business Services and Retail sectors and a member
of the Executive Committee since 2005.
Michel Paris has more than 30 years of experience in investing within PAI. He participated
in numerous transactions including those concerning the companies Sogeres, Bouygues
Telecom, Atos, Equant, Elior, Frans Bonhomme, Elis, Vivarte, Saur, Coin, Kwik Fit, Tendam,
Xella, Kiloutou, Areas, Apave.
Michel Paris graduated from École Centrale de Lyon (1980) and Neoma business school
(1982).
