Portobello’s latest Fund IV had a size of Eur 750 million, Portobello is now raising Fund V for the buyout strategy.
He is Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of many portfolio Companies and has been Chairman of the Spanish Private Equity Association (ASCRI) until Jun 2018.
He was partner in Ibersuizas since 2000. Between 1989 and 2000 he was Investment Director and Head of the EBN Banco Investment Funds. He previously worked at Procter & Gamble.
